The Links That Pay a Commission

Most tours and entry tickets on this site link out to a live booking page, and a completed booking through one of those links pays this site a commission from the platform or operator on the other side. The booking platforms involved are GetYourGuide and Viator, and they are named here rather than in the pages themselves. Beyond tours, this site also carries commission links for places to stay, bag storage, train and coach tickets, airport transfers, car hire, bike hire, audio tours, eSIMs and flights. None of that cost lands on the reader. The price at the till is identical whether you arrived through a link here or found the page yourself.

What Earns Nothing at All

Not everything here is monetized. The ten pay-what-you-want walking tours are listed on GuruWalk, they earn this site nothing, and the guide is paid only by what you hand over at the end. The venues that sell their own tickets, among them the University of Coimbra, the Se Velha, Mosteiro de Santa Cruz and Conimbriga, appear with plain links to their own pages or with no link at all, because there is no commission in them and no reason to pretend otherwise. Those plain links sit beside the commercial ones rather than behind them.

No Paid Placements Here

No operator pays to appear on this site and none can buy a higher place in a list. What is included, and in what order, is decided before any commercial question is raised. Ratings and review counts beside each product are the platforms' own published figures, reproduced exactly and read twice before publication. Where a figure could not be confirmed, none is invented to fill the gap, and the page says so. Entry prices come from the venue's own page in euro, and tour from-prices come from the listing, so neither is a conversion of the other.
